H.H. Sheikh Mansoor Inaugurates Record-Breaking Dubai Muscle Show at Expo City
Dubai, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, visited the eighth edition of the ‘Dubai Active, Dubai Active Industry, and Dubai Muscle Show’ at Expo City Dubai, which runs through October 27. This year’s event marks the largest in its history, with a record-breaking 38,000 fitness enthusiasts, 400 exhibitors from 40 countries, and over 3,000 industry specialists.
Held in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, this three-day exhibition features an extensive array of bodybuilding competitions, fitness challenges, and exclusive talks by fitness icons, including Olympia champions. H.H. Sheikh Mansoor toured the exhibition with key officials, engaging with global brand representatives and learning about the latest advancements in fitness, from state-of-the-art equipment to innovative nutritional products.
Sheikh Mansoor praised the event’s organizers and highlighted the importance of the Dubai Sports Council’s partnerships with the private sector in advancing the UAE’s sporting infrastructure and boosting the local economy.
The exhibition’s line-up includes major events such as the Dubai Muscle Classic with AED70,000 in prize money and 13 coveted IFBB Pro Cards, plus the debut FMG International Ladies Competition. Notable speakers include Hadi Choopan, eight-time Olympia Ronnie Coleman, and renowned trainer Hany Rambod, who will participate in the Dubai Muscle Talks, sharing elite training insights with fans.
New attractions like the ‘HYROX 365 Challenge’ and the People of Determination competition, supported by GymNation, promote inclusivity while testing endurance. The Forge Grappling Challenge will offer Jiu-Jitsu demonstrations, and Team Nogueira Dubai’s Future Champions Tournament will feature boxing, MMA, and Muay Thai showcases.
This year’s event, backed by sponsors such as Basix, Life Pharmacy, Optimum Nutrition, and Taiwan Excellence, is poised to strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading hub for global fitness and bodybuilding innovation.
