Ceasefire in Gaza to Begin on January 19, 2025 at 8:30am Local Time: Al Ansari
Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has announced that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will commence at 8:30 AM local time in Gaza (9:30 AM Doha Time) on Sunday, January 19, 2025. This was confirmed by the Ministry’s Spokesman, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a post shared on X, Dr. Al Ansari stated, “As coordinated by the parties to the agreement and the mediators, the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will begin at 8:30 AM on Sunday, January 19, local time in Gaza.”
He further advised all residents of the region to exercise extreme caution and to follow the directions issued by official sources to ensure their safety during the ceasefire. The announcement reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring peace and stability to the region amidst the ongoing conflict.
