President Lukashenko Extends Official Welcome to Iranian Counterpart Pezeshkian

Minsk, The Gulf Observer: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Tuesday officially welcomed Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Minsk with a formal ceremony at the presidential palace, marking the beginning of a two-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
President Pezeshkian arrived in Minsk leading a high-level delegation, underscoring Tehran’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Belarus across political, economic, and cultural spheres.
Following the ceremonial welcome, the two presidents held a private meeting before joining their respective delegations for comprehensive discussions on deepening cooperation. The visit is expected to result in the signing of several agreements to enhance collaboration in key sectors.
During his stay, President Pezeshkian will also meet with senior Belarusian parliamentary officials and hold talks with members of the Iranian expatriate community in Belarus.
Undertaken at President Lukashenko’s invitation, the visit reflects Iran’s broader strategy to strengthen international partnerships. Both leaders are anticipated to issue joint statements emphasizing commitments to economic development, trade expansion, and regional cooperation.
