Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan Agree to Expand Cooperation Across Key Sectors

Avaza, The Gulf Observer: Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan have reached an agreement to enhance long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation through the establishment of joint ventures and the implementation of collaborative initiatives in the industrial, trade-economic, transport, and cultural-humanitarian fields.
The decision was made during a trilateral meeting on Friday in the National Tourist Zone of Avaza, attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to official Turkmen media, the leaders emphasized the importance of advancing industrial and manufacturing cooperation, particularly in textiles, chemicals, construction, and other key sectors. They also underscored the need to intensify business relations through exhibitions, forums, and strengthened transport and logistics links, including the development of multimodal transport systems, air services, and tourism.
Special attention was directed toward cultural and humanitarian cooperation, with agreements to promote exchange visits, joint research, academic collaboration, media partnerships, and artistic exchanges. The three sides highlighted that such initiatives would further strengthen friendship and comprehensive cooperation among their peoples.
Following the discussions, a signing ceremony was held, during which several documents were concluded to deepen cooperation in transport, aviation, and trade.
