President Prabowo Hosts Strategic Dialogue with Media and Experts in Bogor

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, held a high-level meeting with journalists, observers, and experts from various fields at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, to deliberate on recent geopolitical developments and the implementation of strategic government policies.
The meeting, which commenced on Tuesday night (March 17) and continued into the early hours of Wednesday, was confirmed by Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom), Angga Raka Prabowo, during a statement from Jakarta on Thursday.
Angga noted that the forum served as a platform for comprehensive discussions on the government’s strategies to address emerging global and domestic challenges. It also provided the President with an opportunity to respond to key issues currently under public scrutiny.
“The government expects this engagement to foster public optimism regarding Indonesia’s progress and transformation,” he said.
He further emphasized President Prabowo’s commitment to strengthening synergy across all segments of society, underscoring the importance of inclusive collaboration in national development.
“Mr. President remains fully committed to strengthening synergy with various elements of the nation and embracing all stakeholders to work hand in hand to develop the country,” Angga added.
Images shared by Bakom on the President’s official Instagram account (@presidenrepublikindonesia) depicted a roundtable discussion setting, with President Prabowo seated alongside prominent figures including senior journalist Retno Pinasti and political consultant Hasan Nasbi, former head of the Presidential Communication Office.
Also in attendance were distinguished participants such as former finance minister and Harvard University lecturer Muhammad Chatib Basri, senior journalist and Narasi founder Najwa Shihab, political observer and Freedom Institute founder Rizal Mallarangeng, as well as entrepreneur, content creator, and philanthropist Mardigu Wowiek Prasantyo.
Documents and materials, including a red-covered file titled “President Prabowo Subianto’s Presentation,” were seen placed on the table, reflecting the structured nature of the discussion.
The meeting highlights the administration’s proactive approach in engaging thought leaders and media representatives to ensure informed policymaking and transparent governance.
