Crown Prince Hussein, US Senator Joni Ernst Discuss Regional Stability and Gaza Peace Efforts

Amman, The Gulf Observer: Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah II, HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Sunday received United States Senator Joni Ernst and her accompanying delegation at Al Husseiniya Palace, where discussions focused on regional developments and efforts to promote peace and stability.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince underscored the importance of de-escalating tensions to achieve regional and international stability, reaffirming Jordan’s commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at restoring comprehensive calm across the region, according to a statement issued by the Royal Court.
His Royal Highness also expressed concern over the deteriorating humanitarian and security situation in the West Bank and Gaza, warning of the serious implications of the ongoing crisis. He stressed the necessity of implementing all phases of the peace plan for the Gaza Strip to help restore stability and advance prospects for lasting peace.
The meeting was attended by Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, along with Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain. Both sides also discussed issues of mutual interest and the importance of continued dialogue to support regional security and cooperation.
