Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Honors Memory of Deceased During Visit to Arkadag City

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov honored the memory of those who passed away during a working visit to Arkadag city, where he inspected ongoing construction works at the Arkadag Ruhy Mosque and its madrasa, the official Turkmen media reported.
During the visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov toured the Arkadag Ruhy Mosque, which is designed to accommodate up to 30,000 worshippers, as well as its associated facilities, including a 1,500-seat sadaqa hall. He reviewed the progress of construction and gave relevant instructions concerning the ongoing work.
The National Leader also visited the madrasa under construction and examined the progress of the project. He emphasized the importance of creating all necessary conditions for young people studying religious subjects so that they can properly master their lessons.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Remembrance Day is observed in Turkmenistan on October 6 and said that it was appropriate to offer prayers for those who had passed away, as well as for the prosperity of the country and the well-being of its people.
The chief imam of the Arkadag Ruhy Mosque offered prayers for peace for the souls of the deceased, prosperity for Turkmenistan and a happy life for its people. Prayers were also offered for the health and longevity of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the President of Turkmenistan, as well as for success in achieving their ambitious national goals.
During the working visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also held a meeting with D. Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan, and G. Mammedova, Mayor of Arkadag city.
The meeting focused on the progress of construction of social facilities planned under the second phase of Arkadag city, including a specialized school for foreign languages and a kindergarten.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty stressed the importance of ensuring a high level of organization for celebrations marking the professional holiday of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry workers, which is widely observed in Turkmenistan.
In this regard, he called for the presentation of keys to new homes, the organization of large-scale celebrations to mark the occasion, improvements in the operation of healthcare facilities and measures to strengthen disease diagnosis.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also placed particular emphasis on thorough preparations for the opening ceremony of the second phase of Arkadag city, instructing the relevant authorities to ensure that all necessary work is completed to a high standard and within the established timeframe.
