Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, visited several prominent pavilions at the 40th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which concluded today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The prestigious event showcased groundbreaking advancements in the energy sector, with a particular focus on sustainable solutions and technological innovations.

During his tour, H.H. Sheikh Saif explored cutting-edge developments, particularly innovations leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance operational efficiency, lower costs, and drive sustainability by reducing carbon emissions. These solutions reflect the UAE’s commitment to pioneering advancements that align with global energy transition goals.

A highlight of the visit was Sheikh Saif’s engagement at ADNOC’s pavilion, where he received a comprehensive overview of the company’s major achievements and strategic projects. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, provided detailed explanations on ADNOC’s initiatives, emphasizing their role in advancing energy sustainability and economic growth.

The tour also included visits to pavilions of prominent UAE companies such as Al Masaood, which presented sustainable sectoral solutions, and Mubadala, which showcased investments and innovations in energy and industry. Other notable stops included local and international firms like Ali & Sons Energy, EMDAD, Dragon Oil, CS, and the International Development Company (IDC), each displaying their contributions to the evolving energy landscape.

The 40th edition of ADIPEC served as a global platform for industry leaders and experts to collaborate on shaping the future of energy, reflecting the UAE’s leadership in fostering innovation and sustainable progress within the sector.
