His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Welcomes His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim

Bandar Seri Begawan, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, graciously welcomed the arrival of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, at His Majesty the Sultan’s Flight Hangar yesterday.

Following the arrival, His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah consented to host a luncheon in honor of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim at Istana Nurul Iman. The event marked a significant occasion that underscored the strong and enduring ties between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia.

Also in attendance at the luncheon was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office. The gathering provided an opportunity for both monarchs to engage in discussions that further solidify bilateral relations between the two nations.

Before Their Majesties departed for His Majesty the Sultan’s Flight Hangar at Rimba, a Doa Selamat was recited by State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, invoking blessings for a successful and fruitful meeting.
