Indonesia and Uzbekistan Strengthen Collaboration on Gender Equality at CSW Meeting

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi expressed her full support for the collaboration between Indonesia and Uzbekistan to accelerate gender equality.
In a statement on Sunday, Fauzi emphasized the importance of international cooperation, noting that it allows both countries to learn from each other’s successes and foster a more equal and inclusive world. She made these remarks during a bilateral meeting with Sodiq Safoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the 69th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York.
Fauzi further expressed hope that the discussions would strengthen the partnership between Indonesia and Uzbekistan, particularly in advancing the rights of women and children. During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on various strategic efforts and shared best practices aimed at enhancing women’s participation in politics and enacting gender-based policy reforms in both nations.
