President Ilham Aliyev Highlights Azerbaijan’s Commitment to Sustainable Economic Growth

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev has emphasized Azerbaijan’s dynamic economic growth and commitment to sustainable development during his address at the “Tax Service-25: Sustainable Development and Effective Transformation” forum held in Baku.
“Azerbaijan has a dynamic economy with great development potential. We are implementing large-scale infrastructure projects, carrying out reforms to enhance competitiveness in various sectors, and working towards building a sustainable and innovative economy while attracting foreign investment and taking important steps to strengthen domestic production. Our achievements not only accelerate sustainable economic growth but also contribute to social welfare. Our path is based on sustainable development and transparent governance,” President Aliyev stated.
The President outlined Azerbaijan’s key objective of further diversifying its economy and improving its model of sustainable development. He highlighted the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development” strategy as the foundation for the country’s economic growth in the coming years.
“Our key priorities include building a continuously strengthening competitive economy, an inclusive society based on social justice, transforming our country into a hub of modern innovation driven by competitive human capital, and establishing a ‘green growth’ nation, as well as resettling liberated territories. These national priorities, when implemented in an interconnected manner, will yield high-impact results,” he added.
Azerbaijan’s efforts to enhance economic competitiveness, promote innovation, and achieve sustainability underscore its strategic vision for long-term prosperity. The country remains focused on fostering economic resilience, strengthening governance, and advancing social well-being through its comprehensive development agenda.
