President Prabowo Declares Zero Tolerance for Corruption at National Teacher’s Day Summit
Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to eradicating corruption in Indonesia during his speech at the 2024 National Teacher’s Day summit held on Thursday. Addressing a gathering of educators, the President delivered a stern warning against corrupt practices, vowing decisive action to protect the nation’s resources.
“Corruption must stop in the Republic of Indonesia,” the President declared emphatically, punctuating his words with a gesture of resolve. He emphasized that the Red and White Cabinet under his leadership will adopt a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption, theft, and misappropriation.
“Stop! Stop! Stop!” he exclaimed, highlighting the government’s firm stance against practices such as smuggling, online gambling, and fraud, which have significantly drained national wealth.
President Prabowo assured the audience that his administration has developed a comprehensive strategy to address these issues. “I have seen the numbers and worked hard with the ministers. We have a strategy, and I believe we can fix this,” he stated confidently.
In his remarks to the educators, the President highlighted increased budget allocations aimed at improving teachers’ welfare and advancing education. He called on teachers to remain patient and trust in the government’s efforts to bring about meaningful progress.
On the same occasion, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti underscored the President’s presence as a testament to the government’s dedication to enhancing the country’s education system.
