Saudi Arabia Opens New Umrah Season 1448 AH, Issues Visa Schedule and Entry Timelines

Makkah, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Arabia has officially commenced the issuance of Umrah visas and the entry of pilgrims into the Kingdom from Sunday, Dhul Hijjah 14, corresponding to May 31, marking the beginning of the new Umrah season.

According to the Umrah season calendar 1448 AH released by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, pilgrims will be able to enter Makkah and obtain Umrah permits through the Nusuk starting Monday, June 1.

The Ministry stated that the last date for issuing Umrah visas has been set for 1st Shawwal 1448 AH, corresponding to March 9, 2027. Meanwhile, the final date for pilgrims’ entry into the Kingdom has been fixed for 15th Shawwal 1448 AH, corresponding to March 23, 2027.

It further added that Shawwal 30, 1448 AH, corresponding to April 7, 2027, will mark the final departure deadline for all Umrah pilgrims.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has urged Umrah service providers and international agents to strictly adhere to the approved schedule and comply with all regulations and instructions. It emphasized that such compliance is essential to ensure smooth operations and the delivery of high-quality services to pilgrims throughout the season.

The development comes as Saudi Arabia continues to streamline pilgrimage management and enhance digital facilitation for pilgrims visiting the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
