Sharjah Media City Launches “Shams Summer Programme”

Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: Sharjah Media City (Shams) has announced the launch of the “Shams Summer Programme,” running from July 28 to August 8. This initiative aims to enhance children’s mental, social, and recreational skills through intensive training workshops that combine fun and education in a safe and nurturing learning environment. Targeting children aged 6 to 16, the programme is designed to provide age-appropriate activities and workshops, ensuring valuable benefits for all participants.

The carefully chosen age group is intended to maximize the developmental benefits during this critical life stage. Shams aims to support future generations by fostering their thinking abilities, shaping their personalities, and honing their creative talents through diverse programmes.

The “Shams Summer Programme” includes a range of educational and recreational workshops and activities:

• Drawing Cartoon and Anime Characters: Encouraging imagination and artistic skills.
• Photography Basics and Mobile Phone Photography: Providing opportunities to explore and improve photography skills.

• “Little Speaker” Workshop: Improving public speaking skills and building confidence.

Additionally, the programme features interactive science and technology workshops, including simple scientific experiments, programming workshops, and introductions to robotics. Educational field trips to museums, zoos, and science centres will boost children’s environmental and scientific knowledge.
