Shinas Marine Park Development Completed in North Al Batinah

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: North Al Batinah Municipality has successfully completed the development of Shinas Marine Park, a state-of-the-art recreational facility in the Wilayat of Shinas, North Al Batinah Governorate. This initiative is part of the municipality’s broader efforts to enhance recreational and tourism infrastructure for residents and visitors alike.

Engineer Alia bint Salah Al-Attar, a key figure in the Projects Department at North Al Batinah Municipality, emphasized the park’s significance, describing it as a “major addition to the tourism and recreational landscape of the Wilayat.”

Covering an expansive area of approximately 35,250 square meters, Shinas Marine Park includes 4,686 square meters of green spaces, offering environmental benefits while providing open areas for leisure activities.

The park is equipped with various facilities to cater to diverse visitor needs. It features a dedicated playground, public parking, several cafés, and commercial kiosks. Highlighting the park’s economic potential, Engineer Al-Attar noted that 10 investment opportunities have been incorporated into the park’s design, aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These opportunities include five commercial kiosks, a café, two electric gaming zones, and two beachside areas dedicated to water games.

Shinas Marine Park is set to significantly boost tourism and recreational options in the Wilayat of Shinas and across the North Al Batinah Governorate, contributing to the region’s development and appeal.
