UAE and Bahrain Leaders Reaffirm Strategic Ties

Manama, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held high-level talks with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during a fraternal visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, underscoring the deep-rooted relations and strategic partnership between the two nations.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the longstanding ties between the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, exploring avenues to further enhance bilateral cooperation in line with their shared development priorities and mutual interests. The discussions reflected the strength of relations between the leaderships and peoples of both countries.

His Majesty King Hamad warmly welcomed Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to continued consultation and coordination, particularly in light of evolving regional developments.

The leaders also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, highlighting its serious implications for regional and global security and stability. They discussed the broader impact on maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy.

A key focus of the meeting was the condemnation of what was described as Iranian terrorist aggression targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE, Bahrain, and other regional countries. The leaders emphasized that such actions constitute violations of sovereignty, international law, and established norms, and pose a significant threat to regional peace and stability.

The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, alongside Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.

From the Bahraini side, attendees included Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, along with other senior officials.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared vision of both nations to strengthen cooperation, uphold regional stability, and advance joint efforts toward sustainable development and security.
