Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Presides Over Graduation Ceremony at Royal Military College in Kenitra

Kenitra, The Gulf Observer: Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided today over a prestigious military graduation ceremony at the Royal College of Higher Military Education (CREMS), marking the successful completion of studies for the 25th class of the Higher Defense Course and the 59th class of the Staff Course.
Held in accordance with directives from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the ceremony celebrated both national and international achievements in higher military education.
Upon his arrival at CREMS, the Crown Prince was welcomed by Army Corps General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, along with the Colonel-Major, Director of CREMS. He was honored with a military salute from a detachment of the Royal Air Forces.
The Crown Prince was subsequently greeted by the Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, senior officers of the FAR General Staff, the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra Region, the Governor of Kenitra Province, and other dignitaries and faculty members.
As part of the program, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan attended a presentation on the role of the Royal Armed Forces in securing national borders—a topic of strategic importance reflecting Morocco’s commitment to regional stability and national security.
He then awarded certificates of higher military education with specialized master’s degrees in national defense to the officer trainees of the Higher Defense Course, and staff diplomas to graduates of the Staff Course. The awards recognized the efforts of both Moroccan and international officer trainees.
The Colonel-Major, Director of CREMS, also presented the Crown Prince with a compilation of the trainees’ academic work, including research papers produced by the Higher Defense Course graduates—highlighting the intellectual rigor and analytical depth achieved during the academic year.
This year’s graduation class included 296 officer trainees, with 77 international officers from 28 countries, among them Saudi Arabia, Spain, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Egypt, France, Senegal, and Togo—demonstrating the global reputation and reach of Morocco’s military education programs.
The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo featuring Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan alongside the proud graduates of both the Higher Defense and Staff Courses, symbolizing a new chapter in the careers of these military leaders.
