Azerbaijani and Turkish Foreign Ministers Hold Talks on Strategic Ties and Regional Peace Process

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, to discuss key issues of mutual interest, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
The two ministers exchanged views on the comprehensive strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, emphasizing the strength of their bilateral brotherhood-based relations, which continue to develop successfully across all levels and platforms.
Discussions also focused on regional and international cooperation, including collaboration within multilateral organizations. The officials reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties in both regional and global forums.
Minister Bayramov provided a detailed update on the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, outlining recent progress, challenges faced, and the prospects for a lasting peace agreement. He also shared Azerbaijan’s efforts to address the remaining obstacles through constructive dialogue.
The conversation additionally covered current regional and international security concerns, as well as other issues of shared interest. Both sides reiterated the importance of continued close coordination in addressing common challenges and advancing mutual goals.
