Sharjah Unveils “Shamsa Entertainment City” as Flagship Family Destination for Summer 2025
Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) officially inaugurated “Shamsa Entertainment City” on Thursday at Expo Centre Sharjah, marking a key highlight of Sharjah Summer Promotions 2025. Designed as a vibrant hub for families and children, the event runs under the theme “Shamsa Festival – Where Fun Shines” and will continue until August 30.
The new entertainment destination is envisioned as a comprehensive, interactive adventure offering innovative games, exploration zones, and creative experiences tailored for children and families. It blends fun with education and creativity through state-of-the-art features like augmented reality, promoting skills development in an engaging environment.

The opening was graced by prominent dignitaries including H.E. Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI; Sheikh Salem bin Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi, Director of SCTDA; H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, Director General of SCCI; Jamal Bu Zinjal, General Coordinator of Sharjah Summer Promotions; along with several officials from government and partner organizations.
