Turkmen, Moroccan Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation on November 14 with Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
During the discussion, both sides reviewed prospects for further expanding and strengthening the Turkmen–Moroccan partnership across a broad spectrum of bilateral relations. The ministers reaffirmed their mutual commitment to enhancing political dialogue, economic ties, and cultural cooperation.
It was highlighted that Turkmenistan and Morocco maintain effective collaboration in international and regional organisations, particularly within the United Nations framework. This is demonstrated by the long-standing practice of mutual support for initiatives advanced by both countries.
The two ministers also exchanged views on preparations for the upcoming International Forum of Peace and Trust, scheduled to take place on December 12, 2025, in Ashgabat. The forum is expected to serve as an important platform for promoting global dialogue, stability, and constructive cooperation.
Both sides expressed readiness to continue their active engagement aimed at further strengthening friendly relations and advancing mutually beneficial initiatives.
