President Tokayev Attends Informal CIS Meeting in St. Petersburg to Discuss Regional Cooperation

St. Petersburg, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan took part in an informal meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in St. Petersburg, Russia, the press service of Akorda reported on Monday.
The meeting brought together Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Putin of Russia, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, Sadyr Zhaparov of Kyrgyzstan, Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, as well as Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
During the session, the CIS leaders discussed key development directions and outlined further steps to strengthen practical cooperation among member states. An exchange of views was also held on pressing issues related to interaction and collaboration within the CIS framework.
