Kazakh President Signs New Construction Code

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan has signed the country’s new Construction Code, the press service of the Akorda presidential residence announced on Friday, according to media reports.
The press service stated that the full text of the Construction Code will be published in the official press in due course.
In addition, the Head of State signed a law introducing amendments and additions to several legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to architecture, urban planning and construction. The revised legislation is also scheduled to be published in the press in the near future.
The adoption of the Construction Code and the accompanying amendments is aimed at strengthening the legal framework governing the construction sector, as well as improving regulations in the fields of architecture and urban development across the country.
