UAE to Host Series of Major Global Summits and Exhibitions in February

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The United Arab Emirates is set to host a series of high-level international summits, conferences and exhibitions throughout February, underscoring its growing role as a global hub for policy dialogue, digital trade, innovation and international cooperation.

The extensive agenda reflects the UAE’s advanced infrastructure and its strategic position as a bridge between Eastern and Western markets, attracting decision-makers, experts and industry leaders from around the world.

The World Governments Summit (WGS) will be held in Dubai from February 3 to 5, marking its largest leadership gathering to date. The event is expected to bring together more than 6,250 participants, including 35 heads of state, representatives from 150 governments and around 500 ministers. Discussions will focus on key global challenges and the evolving role of governance in driving sustainable development. The summit is also expected to receive wide international media coverage from over 840 media outlets.

In Abu Dhabi, the Global Tolerance and Human Fraternity Conference will commence on February 2, convening more than 180 global thinkers, United Nations officials and academics. The conference will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and human fraternity, highlighting ethical and societal dimensions of emerging technologies.

Education will be a key focus later in the month with the Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education, scheduled for February 14–15. The summit will feature training courses, panel discussions and specialised workshops addressing issues such as artificial intelligence in education, educational equity, future skills and innovative school improvement models.

The digital economy will take centre stage at Worldef Dubai 2026, to be held from February 12 to 14. The forum is expected to attract around 10,000 visitors from 80 countries and will feature 200 speakers and 150 exhibitors, with discussions centred on global e-commerce expansion and retail branding.

Dubai will also host the World Health Expo (WHX Dubai 2026) from February 9 to 12 at Expo City Dubai. The event will include a specialised medical innovation programme led by Mass General Brigham, one of the world’s leading integrated academic healthcare systems and the largest hospital network in the United States.

The February agenda will further include a major international sporting event, with Abu Dhabi set to host the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 from February 6 to 15. Organisers expect more than 25,000 athletes representing over 100 nationalities to compete across 37 sports.

Collectively, the events highlight the UAE’s expanding role as a convening platform for global dialogue across governance, education, health, technology and sport.
