Sultan Haitham, German President Discuss Regional Escalation, Call for Immediate De-escalation

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a phone call from His Excellency Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, during which the two leaders discussed the latest developments related to the escalating military operations in the region and their potential repercussions on the security and stability of regional states.

During the conversation, President Steinmeier expressed his strong condemnation of the recent attacks targeting the Sultanate of Oman, other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and several states across the region. He also conveyed Germany’s solidarity and support for the affected nations during this challenging period.

Both leaders emphasized the urgent need to halt the ongoing conflict and prevent further escalation. They called on all parties involved to respect international law and prioritize diplomatic dialogue and negotiations.
