Vietnam National Assembly Standing Committee to Hold Second Meeting

Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: The Standing Committee of Vietnam’s National Assembly (NA) is scheduled to convene its second meeting on Monday morning, with preparations for the second session of the 16th National Assembly among the key agenda items.
According to the NA Office, National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn will deliver the opening remarks and co-chair the meeting alongside NA vice chairpersons.
During the session, participants are expected to consider and vote on an ordinance amending and supplementing several provisions of the ordinance concerning the consolidation of legal normative documents.
The Standing Committee will also examine a report on the National Assembly’s handling of citizens’ petitions submitted during March and April.
In addition, members will review the outcomes of the first session of the 16th National Assembly, which was held in April, and provide initial opinions on preparations for the second session scheduled for later this year.
