President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Arrives in Azerbaijan on State Visit

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on a state visit on Monday, marking an important step in further strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries.
According to Turkmen state media, the presidential aircraft landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where Azerbaijani officials and members of the Turkmen delegation welcomed the head of state.
The visit is aimed at expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan and elevating their partnership to a new level across a range of strategic sectors.
Turkmenistan’s official media highlighted that Azerbaijan remains one of the country’s closest regional partners. The two nations maintain active cooperation in trade and economic affairs, energy, transport and logistics, communications, agriculture, and other areas of mutual interest.
The state visit is expected to provide fresh momentum to bilateral ties and facilitate discussions on strengthening collaboration in key sectors, reflecting the shared commitment of both countries to deepening regional cooperation and advancing mutually beneficial initiatives.
