UAE Condemns Foiled Terrorist Plots in Morocco, Reaffirms Full Solidarity

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has strongly condemned the terrorist plots recently foiled by Moroccan security authorities, reaffirming the United Arab Emirates’ full solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco in safeguarding its security and stability.

In a statement, Sheikh Abdullah denounced the planned attacks, which sought to seriously undermine public order and threaten the safety of people and property. The plots were reportedly planned with logistical coordination and operational support from the Sahel branch of the Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organisation.

The UAE foreign minister reaffirmed the country’s unwavering support for all measures undertaken by Morocco to preserve its national security, protect its citizens and residents, and safeguard the country’s achievements and stability.

Sheikh Abdullah also praised the professionalism, efficiency, and vigilance of Morocco’s security services for successfully thwarting the terrorist plots and identifying those responsible before the attacks could be carried out.

Reiterating the UAE’s firm stance against terrorism and violent extremism, he stressed the country’s categorical rejection of all forms of terrorism and any actions aimed at undermining the security and stability of nations.

He further underscored the importance of strengthening regional and international cooperation to effectively confront evolving terrorist threats and enhance collective efforts to combat extremism and safeguard global peace and security.
