Qatari FM receives phone call from US National Security Advisor
Doha, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received yesterday a telephone call from HE National Security Advisor of the friendly United States of America Jake Sullivan.
The conversation dealt with reviewing the strategic relations between the two countries in various fields, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
The US National Security Advisor expressed his country’s thanks to the State of Qatar for its efforts that culminated in the release of two US citizens who were detained in Afghanistan, stressing in this context that the State of Qatar is a firm partner of the US in the joint efforts in Afghanistan.
He also extended congratulations to the State of Qatar for its success in organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
