KSA, Mozambique sign MoU to enhance cooperation in rural development
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and Mozambique, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance joint cooperation in agriculture and rural development.
The agreement was signed in the presence of President Filipe Nyusi of the Republic of Mozambique on the sidelines of his official visit to the Kingdom by Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli and Mozambique’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Celso Correia.
As per the memo, the two sides have agreed on a mechanism to achieve the desired objectives, including data and expertise exchange, organizing conferences and workshops in addition to forming a specialized task force from both countries to prepare executive programs to improve bilateral cooperation.
