President Tokayev Welcomed by Singaporean President

Singapore, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan was officially welcomed by his Singaporean counterpart, President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, at the Istana, the official residence and office of the president of Singapore. This was reported by media outlets, citing the Akorda press service.

The official greeting ceremony featured the national anthems of both Kazakhstan and Singapore. President Tokayev left a note in the distinguished visitors’ book before the two heads of state introduced the members of their respective official delegations.

Following the greeting ceremony, Presidents Tokayev and Shanmugaratnam proceeded to the presidential residence for bilateral talks aimed at strengthening the relationship between Kazakhstan and Singapore.
