Amir of Qatar Arrives in Bogotá
Bogotá, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, arrived in the Colombian capital of Bogotá today for an official visit to the friendly Republic of Colombia.
HH the Amir was warmly welcomed at Catam Military Airport by a distinguished delegation, including His Excellency Luis Gilberto Murillo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia; His Excellency Issa bin Jaber Al Kuwari, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Colombia; His Excellency Luis Miguel Hoyos, the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the State of Qatar; and other members of the Qatari Embassy in Colombia.
Accompanying HH the Amir is an official delegation, with discussions during the visit expected to strengthen ties between the two nations in various fields, including diplomacy, trade, and cultural cooperation.
