Azerbaijani President Sends Congratulatory Message to Sudan's Chairman on Independence Day

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has extended a heartfelt congratulatory letter to Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereign Transitional Council of Sudan, in celebration of Sudan’s Independence Day.

In his message, President Aliyev expressed warm wishes on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan, highlighting the significance of the national holiday for Sudan. He stated, “I sincerely congratulate you and your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Sudan – Independence Day.”

President Aliyev also reflected on the positive diplomatic engagement between the two nations, recalling Al-Burhan’s visit to Baku for COP29. He emphasized his confidence that the bilateral and multilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Sudan would continue to flourish, driven by mutual interests and a spirit of friendship and cooperation.

On the occasion of Sudan’s Independence Day, President Aliyev conveyed his best wishes to Al-Burhan and the people of Sudan, wishing them peace and prosperity in the years ahead.
