Iran Oil Show 2025 Opens in Tehran, Focuses on Investment and Global Partnerships

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2025) commenced today in Tehran, with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian officially inaugurating the event. Accompanied by Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and several foreign dignitaries, President Pezeshkian underscored Iran’s strategic role and commitment to the global energy market.

The exhibition, one of the largest of its kind in the region, brings together over 2,000 domestic and international companies, including approximately 150 foreign firms and representatives from 14 countries. The strong international presence reflects growing global interest in Iran’s energy sector and its vast oil and gas potential.

Oil Minister Paknejad announced that Iran plans to attract $10 billion in investment to oil projects by April 2026, emphasizing the government’s strategy to boost production and modernize infrastructure across the energy industry. “Our focus is on unlocking Iran’s energy capacities and encouraging international partnerships,” Paknejad stated.

Spanning 40,000 square meters and covering 37 industry sectors, Iran Oil Show 2025 highlights the latest technological advancements and investment opportunities in oil, gas, petrochemicals, and refining. This year’s edition places a particular emphasis on energy policies, sustainability, and regional cooperation, in line with the calendar year 1404’s slogan, “Year of Investment for Production.”

Held under the theme “Investment in the Oil Industry Ensures Economic Growth and Development,” the exhibition runs from May 8 to 11. Organizers and participants alike view the event as a platform to strengthen Iran’s role in the evolving global energy landscape and to promote dialogue on sustainable growth.

Iran, which possesses some of the world’s largest proven oil and gas reserves, aims to leverage this year’s show to further engage with international stakeholders and bolster economic development through strategic energy investments.
