Oman and Thailand Hold Second Session of Political Talks in Muscat

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Thailand held the second session of political talks on Tuesday at the headquarters of Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Thai delegation was headed by Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the session, both sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored cooperation in key areas, including logistics, the health sector, and energy. Discussions also covered investment exchanges and cultural cooperation, as well as consultations on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry; Warunee Pan Krajang, Ambassador of Thailand to Oman; and several officials from both countries.
