Oman Announces First Day of Ramadan on March 1, 2025

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman’s Main Committee for Ramadan Moon Sighting has officially declared that Saturday, March 1, 2025, will mark the first day of the Holy month of Ramadan.
The announcement follows the committee’s confirmation after conducting the necessary moon sighting, in accordance with the Islamic lunar calendar. Muslims in Oman and around the region are now preparing to begin the month-long period of fasting, reflection, and devotion.
