Pakistan, Iran Reaffirm Commitment to Regional Stability and Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday held a wide-ranging discussion on the evolving situation in South Asia and ongoing US-Iran dialogue, underlining the importance of diplomacy and negotiations in resolving complex regional and international issues.
During their meeting in Islamabad, the two leaders acknowledged each other’s constructive diplomatic efforts and reiterated their shared commitment to fostering peace and stability in the region, the Foreign Office said in a press release.
The foreign ministers reaffirmed the strength of Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations and expressed determination to enhance cooperation in key sectors, including trade, energy, and regional connectivity.
Both sides agreed to maintain the positive momentum in Pak-Iran relations through sustained high-level engagement and increased frequency of leadership-level interactions.
The meeting underscored the mutual resolve of the two neighboring countries to deepen ties and coordinate efforts on regional and global matters of common interest.
