Saudi and Dutch Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza Crisis
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a phone conversation with his Dutch counterpart, Caspar Veldkamp, on Thursday. The discussion focused on the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip and efforts to de-escalate the conflict.
During the call, the two ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in Gaza and the ongoing efforts to bring an end to the conflict. This comes as a new round of ceasefire talks is taking place in Doha, Qatar. The talks include high-level participation from Israel’s spy chief, along with U.S. and Egyptian officials, and Qatar’s prime minister, who are all working behind closed doors to seek a resolution.
Prince Faisal and Veldkamp also took the opportunity to review the state of bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands, discussing ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors.
The conversation underscores the continued diplomatic engagement and collaboration between the two nations in addressing regional crises and strengthening ties.
