UAE Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments with Counterparts

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a series of telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of several brotherly and friendly countries to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to promote regional stability and lasting peace.
According to an official statement, Sheikh Abdullah spoke separately with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman; Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain; and Yvette Cooper, the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs.
The discussions focused on the evolving situation in the Middle East and international efforts to foster stability, security, and sustainable peace across the region, with the aim of ensuring the prosperity and well-being of its peoples.
During his conversations with the foreign ministers of Kuwait and Bahrain, Sheikh Abdullah strongly condemned the renewed Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the two Gulf states.
He reaffirmed the United Arab Emirates’ unwavering solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and expressed the UAE’s full support for all measures aimed at safeguarding their security, sovereignty, and stability.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasized that the security of Kuwait and Bahrain is inseparable from the security of the UAE and the Gulf Arab states, underscoring the importance of collective efforts to preserve regional peace and stability.
The telephone conversations also addressed a number of other issues and matters of mutual interest, reflecting continued diplomatic coordination among regional and international partners on key developments affecting the Middle East.
