UAE President, US Secretary of State Discuss Strategic Cooperation and Regional Developments

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday received US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is visiting the United Arab Emirates as part of a broader Middle East tour.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strategic partnership between the UAE and the United States and explored ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordination across a range of sectors in support of mutual interests.
The discussions also covered regional and international issues of common concern, with particular emphasis on the latest developments in the Middle East.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Secretary Rubio stressed the importance of advancing the foundations of security, stability, and sustainable peace throughout the region, underscoring the need for continued cooperation to address shared challenges and promote regional prosperity.
The meeting reflected the longstanding strategic relationship between the UAE and the United States and their commitment to enhancing collaboration on issues of mutual importance.
The talks were attended by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; as well as a number of senior officials.
