Uzbekistan's President Congratulates President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on His Birthday

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On February 26, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, extending warm birthday wishes to the Turkish leader.

President Mirziyoyev sincerely wished President Erdoğan good health, well-being, and continued success in his mission to ensure the sustainable development and prosperity of the brotherly Turkish people.

During the conversation, the significant role and personal contribution of President Erdoğan in modernizing Türkiye, elevating its global stature, and strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye were highlighted.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the growing momentum of bilateral cooperation, noting the ongoing productive exchanges at various levels and the expansion of practical collaboration in trade, economy, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

They emphasized the importance of advancing joint projects in investment, innovation, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other key sectors. Special attention was given to preparations for the upcoming High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting and the forthcoming summits within the Organization of Turkic States.

The discussion also included an exchange of views on current international issues.

At the conclusion of the conversation, the two leaders exchanged warm greetings on the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, wishing peace, well-being, and progress for the brotherly peoples of Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
