Myanmar’s Min Aung Hlaing Departs Moscow for Saint Petersburg

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: A high-level Myanmar delegation, led by Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, departed from Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow yesterday as part of an official visit to Russia.
The departure ceremony was attended by Russian Minister of Economic Development Mr. Maxim Reshetnikov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other officials, alongside the Guard of Honour. The Senior General received a salute from the Russian Federation’s Guard of Honour, and the national anthems of both Myanmar and Russia were played to mark the occasion.
Later in the evening, the delegation arrived at Pulikovo Airport in Saint Petersburg, where they were warmly received by Mr. Grigoriev, Chairman of the External Relations Committee of Saint Petersburg, Myanmar’s Consul-General U Aung Pe Thet, and other officials.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing’s visit underscores the strengthening ties between Myanmar and Russia, with engagements aimed at deepening cooperation in various sectors.
