Arab Media Summit 2025 Kicks Off in Dubai with Participation of 8,000 Media Professionals

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: The Arab Media Summit (AMS) 2025, the largest media gathering in the Arab world, officially commenced today at the Dubai World Trade Centre with the participation of approximately 8,000 media professionals from across the UAE and the wider Arab region. The event opened with sessions of the Youth Media Forum, marking the beginning of a three-day exploration of the future of media development in the region.
Running until May 28, the summit has brought together an influential array of attendees, including ministers, editors-in-chief, heads of media organizations, content creators, influencers, media technology experts, and academics. The summit’s primary focus is to examine the evolving landscape of the media sector in the Arab world and its future prospects.
The opening day’s agenda included the prestigious Ibda’a – Arab Youth Media Award celebration, honoring outstanding contributions to media by young professionals. Over the course of the event, more than 175 main sessions and 35 workshops will be held, presented by leading global media organizations and digital platforms, offering valuable insights into the latest trends and technologies shaping the media industry.
With over 300 speakers from across the region and the globe, the summit promises to be a dynamic forum for discussion and collaboration. Participants from 26 countries are attending the event, which underscores the significance of the Arab Media Summit as a key international platform for media discourse.
