President Zardari, Saudi Ambassador Discuss Deepening Pakistan-Saudi Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday and discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the domains of trade, economy, and culture.
Welcoming the ambassador, President Zardari reaffirmed the longstanding, historic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which are rooted in shared faith, values, and mutual trust. He emphasized the importance of further broadening these ties for the mutual benefit of the two brotherly nations.
President Zardari highlighted Pakistan’s investor-friendly policies and encouraged Saudi investors to explore promising investment opportunities across various sectors of the Pakistani economy. He noted that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia maintain similar perspectives on key regional and international issues and continue to support each other on multilateral platforms.
The president expressed his sincere gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its consistent support to Pakistan, particularly during challenging times.
President Zardari also requested the ambassador to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present during the meeting.
