Oman, Kyrgyzstan FMs Discuss Bilateral Cooperation, Regional Developments

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, received a telephone call from Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the conversation, the two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and explored avenues to further strengthen cooperation across various sectors in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
The discussions also covered a number of regional and international issues of common concern. Both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination and consultation, supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing security and stability, and promoting dialogue and mutual understanding as key principles in addressing global challenges.
Sayyid Badr congratulated his Kyrgyz counterpart on Kyrgyzstan’s election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the upcoming two-year term. He expressed his sincere wishes for Kyrgyzstan’s success in carrying out this important international responsibility and contributing to efforts to maintain international peace and security.
The Foreign Minister also voiced confidence that Kyrgyzstan’s membership on the Security Council would support the strengthening of international law and the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter.
