President of Singapore visits Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex

Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: The President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah Yacob visited the Memorial Complex of Imam al-Bukhari. A Surah from the Quran was recited in honor of the prominent Islamic scholar.

Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan M.Komilov informed the guest about the construction work in this complex, which is being built on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and its history. It was noted that the conditions created here would serve the development of pilgrimage tourism.

Mrs. Halimah Yacob highly appreciated the ongoing construction and landscaping activities.
