Qatari PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in Arab Ministerial Meetings in Cairo
Cairo, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani actively engaged in diplomatic discussions during his participation in two significant meetings held in Cairo, Egypt.
In the first meeting, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani joined Foreign Ministers from six Arab nations, including the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the State of Palestine, for deliberations with H E Antony Blinken, the Secretary of State of the United States of America. The meeting, convened yesterday, focused on addressing the latest developments in the region. Central to the discussions was the reaffirmation of the Arab stance advocating for an immediate ceasefire in the region and ensuring sustainable humanitarian aid access to the Gaza Strip.
In a separate coordination meeting, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani participated alongside Foreign Ministers from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the State of Palestine. This meeting, also held in Cairo, aimed to address the evolving situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. The discussions encompassed strategies to bolster regional and international efforts towards achieving an urgent ceasefire in Gaza, as well as facilitating unimpeded entry of humanitarian assistance to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region.
