Uzbekistan Holds First-Ever “Best Law Teachers of the Year” Competition

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: For the first time in Uzbekistan, the “Best Law Teachers of the Year” competition was held, celebrating outstanding educators in the field of legal studies. Organized by the Ministry of Justice, the nationwide contest drew participation from approximately 10,000 teachers of the subject “Fundamentals of State and Law” across the country.

Following several stages of selection, 42 teachers reached the republican final, from which three national winners were announced.

Dilobar Odilova, a teacher at School No. 28 in the Jamboy district of Samarkand region, claimed first place, earning a diploma and a cash prize of 30 million soums.

The second place was awarded to Mehriniso Norova, representing School No. 1 in the Korovulbozar district of Bukhara region, who received 20 million soums and a diploma.

Azat Baimuratov, from School No. 16 in the Shumanay district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, secured third place, receiving a diploma and 10 million soums.

In addition to the top three awards, the competition also recognized excellence in specific categories, naming three winners each in the “Best Speaker” and “Best Presentation” nominations.

The Ministry emphasized that the competition aims to elevate the status of legal educators, promote innovative teaching methods, and inspire excellence in legal education across Uzbekistan.

All honorees were celebrated for their contributions and dedication to fostering a deeper understanding of law among students nationwide.
