UAE President Welcomes Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received His Excellency Gabriel Boric Font, President of the Republic of Chile, who commenced an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
An official welcome ceremony was held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi to honor President Boric Font upon his arrival. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan accompanied the distinguished guest to the dais of honor, where the national anthems of both the UAE and Chile were played. An honor guard was assembled, and a 21-gun salute was fired to mark the Chilean President’s visit.
The reception was attended by several high-ranking UAE officials, including:
- His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court
- H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior
- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

President Gabriel Boric Font was accompanied by an official delegation that includes:
- Alberto van Klaveren, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile
- Nicolás Grau, Minister of Economy, Development, and Tourism of Chile
- Jessica Lopez Saffie, Minister of Public Works of Chile
- Aisén Etcheverry, Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation
- Patricio Diaz Broughton, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile to the UAE, along with several ministers and senior Chilean officials.
The visit marks a significant step in strengthening the bilateral relations between the UAE and Chile, fostering cooperation across various fields.
