Arab Parliament Speaker Lauds UAE-Egypt Collaboration on Arab Causes
Cairo, The Gulf Observer: The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed Ahmed Al Yamahi, has praised the robust cooperation between the UAE and Egypt in advancing Arab causes, attributing this success to the visionary leadership of both nations.
During a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Al Yamahi acknowledged Egypt’s pivotal role, under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in addressing key Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian cause. He emphasised the necessity of Arab solidarity to tackle regional challenges effectively.
Highlighting the significance of parliamentary diplomacy, Al Yamahi underscored its role in complementing the official efforts of Arab states to achieve shared goals.
In response, Foreign Minister Shoukry called for a unified Arab parliamentary front to safeguard Arab interests on the global stage. He reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening the Arab Parliament and its contribution to fostering economic, social, and cultural cooperation among Arab nations.
