Amir of Qatar holds telephone conversation with Italian PM

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held on Monday a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni.

At the outset of the conversation, the Italian Prime Minister welcomed the visit of HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation to Rome, expressing regret over not being able to meet His Highness during his visit due to a health problem, and looking forwards to continuing joint work between the two friendly countries to realize their common interests.

HH the Amir of Qatar expressed his wishes of good health and wellness for the Prime Minister, stressing that his visit is an important step in developing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, and looking forward to meeting HE the Italian Prime Minister in the near future.

The two sides also discussed friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and the aspects of developing them.
